We verify the medical history of all dogs that stay at 4 Paws to ensure all are vaccinated and free of contagious disease. We ask that all new dogs come in for a screening visit, which helps us determine habits and temperament to ensure that all dogs are sociable and compatible.

Dog Daycare & Boarding Requirements:

Dogs must be 5 months or older.

Dogs must be spayed or neutered (ask about exceptions for puppies).

Your dog must be in good health and current on all vaccinations including DHLPPC, Rabies, and Bordatella (proof required).

Your dog must be free of fleas.

Dogs must be friendly toward other dogs and staff, and your dog must not be protective of food, toys or their space.

Temperament Evaluation:
For the safety of everyone, it is important that all dogs behave in a non-aggressive manner. In order to determine if each dog is appropriate, we require a temperament screening. We will discuss your dog’s social history with you first, and then we will introduce your dog to other friendly dogs. We watch your dog’s body language and reactions to other dogs. If everything goes well, your dog will be accepted to 4 Paws.
